A beautiful apple green jade gem is set as the body of this 14k yellow gold crane. Cranes have long been seen as a symbol of immortality. Perhaps endowing this crane with a center of jade, the "Stone of Heaven", is a way of bestowing a long exalted life upon the wearer. The pendant is suspended from a new 14k chain made of recycled gold. Circa 1970.
